Newly-confessed serial killer Todd Kohlhepp has announced that he will vote for Donald Trump in next week's election.
Kohlhepp, who was arrested in South Carolina after police found a 30-year-old woman “chained like a dog” inside a shipping container on his land, told reporters that he felt that Trump was "the right man to take this country forward.
"I just feel that if America is to become great again, we need someone with a new perspective," added Kohlhepp, who has since admitted to killing up to seven others.
Kohlhepp observed that he had felt no difference between the Republican government of George W. Bush, during which he massacred four people at a motorcycle shop, and that of Democrat Barack Obama, who has been head of state during Kohlhepp's recent killings and attempted murder.
"To me, whether it was Ted Cruz, or any other Republican candidate... or Hillary Clinton, it's just going to be more of the same," the 45-year-old said. "There's only one person who is going to really shake things up, and that is Donald Trump."
However, when asked whether Trump's assertion that he could "grab women by the p*ssy" had resonated with him, and Kohlhepp replied, "No, actually, I thought he was a little out of line there."
