On Christmas day, the Queen is obliged to wave to every single one of her subjects.

The Queen's Christmas Day message will feature the 104-year-old monarch paying tribute to herself in a unique way - by belching the words of God Save the Queen.

"GOOOD... SAAAVE...OUR...GRA-SHUS...QUEEN," begins the windy monarch, who is pictured with some tell-tale signs of gas generation, like cans of Diet Coke and the remains of a glass of Prosecco.

The message, as always, will be broadcast on both television and radio at 1500 GMT. Last year saw Prince Phillip, the Duke of Edinburgh, taking centre stage, performing a puppet version of the Nativity Play, featuring a number of out-of-place Pakistani and Chinese accents.

This year's message comes complete with a surprise, as Her Britannic Majesty reveals that even she only knows the words to the first verse.
