You search the trash and find a pizza box. Opening it, you find a pair of OPOSSUMs making love. Screaming, you throw it as far as you can. You hear a window shatter and a scream, followed by the sound of a rotary-dial telephone. You realize that the residents of the farmhouse are calling the police, and when the police find a naked man searching through the trash they will likely arrest you on the spot.
