Talk:The Emperor's New Clothes
The ICU tag at the bottom of the page may not apply here, as there is plenty of text in the article. Only stupid people can't see it.
- Yeah dammit. I don't know who put that tag there, but it's obvious there's plenty of text and images here. Some of the funniest stuff I've ever read in fact. If anything, I'd say it's too long. -OptyC Sucks! CUN15:19, 24 May
I would contest some of the facts surrounding the Velociraptor Revolution. If my memory of my high school history lessons serves me right, they were armed with lightsabers, not railguns. Can anyone confirm this and make the change?
- Thanks for pointing that out, I've looked it up and you were right. Obviously high school history > me ~.~ I've fixed it, if you spot any more glaring oversights like that, just let me know, or better, just amend them yourself!--Sambuking 09:33, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
This is Great![edit source]
Okay, we need to feature this. Like, NOW.--You know what the music means... Our time is up. 01:08, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
- Exactly. I like, loved the part about the milk can. User:Zheliel/sigz2 10:14, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks :) It seems a fair few stupid people read the Uncyclopedia and can't seem to see any text, which is a shame considering the amount of effort I put into it :(--Sambuking 20:00, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, I heard it took days and days to make. Why you had to carve what you were eventually going to type in 24 carat gold I don't know, but given the resulting article, I really don't care either.--You know what the music means... Our time is up. 00:42, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
- Carving it into gold really helps you focus on getting it right and making a good quality article. It's not something you can waste just like that, so it's a good motivator.--Sambuking 08:54, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

A comment about the cultural references[edit source]
Great section, very accurate. I only have one minor quibble: shouldn't there be something in there about the latest debate held at Oxford about this? It was well documented in the papers, it seems to me that warrants a mention here. -OptyC Sucks! CUN20:17, 26 May
- I wasn't sure whether or not to mention it, because a lot of the hard core fans are still debating as to whether or not the newspaper report of the debate fits in the official canon or not. I'm guessing we'll get a statement from the Emperor himself as to the canonicity of the debate, for now I'm going to be cautious and not stir up the wrath of rabid TENC fanboys.--Sambuking 08:54, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
- Right, this has now been clarified. I'm sure pretty much everyone heard his speech yesterday, but I've added a transcript to the page just in case. Looks like the debates are canon after all. I'll watch them again (I taped them on VHS) this evening, and update the article accordingly after that. If anyone spots any errors, feel free to patch them up.--Sambuking 09:33, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
This article has a lot of text[edit source]
But it's all one huge fucking block of text. It needs some formatting.
23:04, 26 May 2009 (UTC)- I fixed it. Added some line breaks and a couple pictures. How's it look now? -OptyC Sucks! CUN21:23, 27 May
- Thanks for that! I've tidied up some of the paragraphing too, and replaced one of your pictures with a more suitable one - I think the new one represents Operation Redhawk a little better than the last one, especially as it shows both the buffalo and the octopus , although I'm open to other people's opinions. What do other people think?--Sambuking 09:33, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
Personal life[edit source]
I was going to add this section, but I'm actually not sure what his current status is, after his previous marriage broke down due to the incident in Taipei. Does anyone know what he's been up to in the last decade or so, or know any links to any recent interview with him?--Sambuking 08:54, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
- Saw him a couple years back, after the accident. Seems like he's still mad about the custody battle (I think he wants the orangutang back) Oh, and I think he's in a Pink Floyd cover band now. We're friends on Facebook, do you want me to message him?--You know what the music means... Our time is up. 18:29, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
- A Pink Floyd cover band? Nice! A message would be quite handy, to get an update from the man himself. As an aside, I'm wondering how he manages to access Facebook. I thought he carried enough static charge to destroy pretty much any electronic item within 30 yards?--Sambuking 09:33, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
- I added his comments on the world. Also, I believe he has an interpreter type for him, whilst he tells him what to say in sign language. As he's deaf, this is the only logical way to do this.--You know what the music means... Our time is up. 21:34, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

Velociraptor Revolution[edit source]
Great section I thought, but somebody has accidentally put a picture of a large Speedoraptor, and labelled it a small Velociraptor. I know it's a small quibble, but I think that we should try and get a picture of the correct species. Apart from that, it's really good. That milk can bit was pure gold. --Nameable ((talk?)) 11:11, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
