Talk:Self-hating Jew

I think the two paragraphs about Portugal in History need to be severely reduced, but I don't want to change the article while it's 7-0 on VFH in case I break whatever magic spell is making people vote for it. What does everyone else think? -- Falcotron16.png !!! ??? 22:20, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

Just wait it out. Unless you would have us proof read it in here.--Spacer.gifSpacer.gifPremierTomMayfairChe.png RedPhone.png Unsoc.png Hammer and sickle.png 00:13, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
This is the paragraph I'm referring to:
Many fled to Portugal, where King Oaoao (pronounced "John") welcomed the Jews and their Jew gold with open arms and free toasters for opening a new account. However, the Spanish soon began pressuring Portugal to begin a franchise Inquisition. Many Portugese objected to this cultural imperialism, but both major parties at the time were convinced of the virtues of Free Trade, and after the campaign of Roao Peroao foundered, Portugal signed the IFTA agreement with Spain.
I think the jokes about Portugese names, Ross Perot, NAFTA, etc. are irrelevant to the article and not all that funny; the whole thing could probably be reduced to one or two sentences joined to the following paragraph:
Many fled to Portugal, which welcomed the Jews and their Jew gold with open arms and free toasters for opening a new account. However, the Inquisition began to spread across the border.
But I'll follow your advice and leave it for now. -- Falcotron16.png !!! ??? 02:13, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

Attempts by anonymous to add pro- (or anti-) Israeli propaganda in this piece are hilarious, completely appropriate, and welcomed by all. But I'm still going to revert them, because I'm part of an evil anti- (and pro-) Israeli conspiracy. Sorry -- Falcotron16.png !!! ??? 01:26, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

This reads like a real Wikipedia article. I know self-hating jews are funny, but...
