Right so i did this NFL related article, no pictures and stuff but i just wanted to see how she is Guiltyyouthclique 03:12, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
Humour: | 7 | There is some good funny here. |
Concept: | 6 | Kinda obscure; admittedly I had to look him up before reviewing. More elaboration will cancel this. |
Prose and formatting: | 5 | I like some of the repetition, but the length creates an issue with the prosing. |
Images: | 7 | UPDATED: Better, another good foundation element |
Miscellaneous: | 10 | Because I see the humor shining through. |
Final Score: | 35 | See End Notes |

I dig this article. Unfortunately, it is only to an extent, currently. This is partially due to the length, but more due to the length-to-joke ratio. Like I said in the box, I like some of the repetition. However, in a short article such as this, it wears thin if you don't keep it fresh throughout. My advice would be expansion.
Also, the "No one knows anything about this person's history or current whereabouts" is a bit of a cop-out. Give him a funny backstory and current locale; the possibilities are numerous, and it'll definitely help add some more funny.
Definitely needs pictures, stat. I know you said it, but still, I can't award any points for nothing. Cool. These pics work, and will probably compliment well when the article is expanded. The bag heads could possibly use a slightly funnier quote, but that could just be a POV call. Over all, you are making progress!!
Basically, I say: good first offering. The seeds are planted. Now, go fill in the gaps. Give his character a little more depth. I have confidence that if you put in that little bit more, it'll be a really quality article. Cheers! --THINKER 04:06, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
- ok thanks for the review. im still relatively n00bish, so i think this was good 4 me. im not so sure about images, any tips for finding good ones, i was thinking maybe a picture of the detroit fans with bags over there heads and a picture of millen sweaty at the draft. - Well, as I don't frequent sports forums and sites much, I don't really know what the best way to get good pics would be. I still use Google, just takes a while to sift through results. I sites dedicated to the "Fire Millen" movement might have some good ones (though don't steal original material... or at least make it known that its stolen, until a copyright policy is enforced). Other than that, you can request photoshopped images here. --THINKER 03:00, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
- i grabbed some from google images, took me a bit to get the whole picture thing figured out, and i think i have some formatting errors, but i'm working on it. i also am working on the backstory so not to cop out Guiltyyouthclique 01:51, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
- Indeed you are working on it! I am really happy to see this; many fledging writers have the tendency to ignore the review and let the article sit, even if given improvement points. Your commitment to the piece shows the capacity for making quality. Good stuff; keep it going! I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out. :) --THINKER 02:06, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
- PS - If you have any trouble with wiki-related issues like you did with adding images, contact me on my talk page and I'll help you out. --THINKER 02:13, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
