Just wondering, but why would anyone choose anything but the God-ending?

- You know, the ending where you replace the Catalyst and control the Reapers.
- I was suspecting you'd say that. I guess they'd reject "Control" if they probably don't trust Shepard to not go down the heartless megalomaniac route that The Catalyst did, and if your Shepard's a Renegade, you'd have even more of a reason to be worried, unless you want to abuse all that power. I personally find the "Synthesis" ending more attractive, even though the hybrids do look kinda creepy and you kill Shepard off. The "Destroy" ending could be chosen by those who neither have faith in Shepard's ability to use the massive power "Control" gives him, and are skeptical about the benefits of Synthesis and think just killing all the Reapers would be the best idea, even if all the synthetics go down as well. Or, if they have a high EMS, and they want Shepard to live a long and happy life after everything he/she's done.

- The game's actually very optimistic about all the endings, if you have a good EMS. I think the post-credits scene is supposed to indicate that things eventually did turn out alright, regardless of what choice you made. The "best" ending would actually be the one you're most comfortable with. Lord Scofield Stark 10:31, 4 February 2013 (UTC)
