It'd be funny if at the end you learn that the two guys are actually playing cricket and have the time to have this conversation in between balls... -- Hindleyite Converse?pedia 21:04, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

...Dammit, now this is gonna be usurped by that joke! (good idea, in other words) --Sir Jam 21:29, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

From Pee Review[edit source]

If you're American, just think of it in the same way as baseball, except even slower and with slightly sillier terminology. Improvements? Come on, don't be shy... --Sir Jam 12:12, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

I think it might help if there was a brief introduction into the fine art of cricket commentary, job qualifications, scandals (maybe someone actually commentating on some cricket...), famous commentaters etc. as well as maybe chopping down on the length of the article if it gets too long winded (even for a cricket commentary.) If I get really bored tomorrow I might get a few bits done, this has the potential to be something quite decent. --Billsheppard 20:18, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
This is a pretty good idea. Even though it involves the old cliche of cricket being 'boring', it addresses it in such a way that it isn't, get me? Or something. Ever seen Mitchell & Webb where they do the snooker commentary? Reminded me a bit of that.
Anyway I think the twist at the end can really make the article. We need more cricket stuff on Uncyclopedia. -- Hindleyite Converse?pedia 21:55, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, thanks for that punchline (would never have thought of it myself)- I was thinking of something along the lines of the Mitchell and Webb thing, not so much in that cricket is boring but that commentators are left with long gaps in the action where there isn't an awful lot to actually talk about. --Sir Jam 08:53, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
