“I pity the fool who uses the Super Guide!”

~ Mr. T on players who use the Super Guide

Back when you were struggling on that one level in Battletoads, nothing could save you. You could have used a Game Genie, but what if you couldn't afford it? Well, life's a bitch and it's going to take a while for a solution to those problems with minimum effort. Today, we have the Super Guide who will help you beat that one level (or beat it for you).

Introduction[edit | edit source]

The Super Guide is a mysterious entity that will help you beat a level in New Super Mario Brothers or the more recent Donkey Kong Country installments. Once you see his moves, it gives those an idea as to how you're going to win that stage. In order to ensure that nobody is going to abuse his powers, you can't use him in boss fights or bonus stages. There's nothing else to bring up regarding his functions.

Origin[edit | edit source]

“Nobody knows!”

~ Hermes Conrad

Indeed. No one knows exactly why the Super Guide was created. Of course, we could state the obvious; but we're talking about him as a person.

Forms of Super Guide[edit | edit source]

Super Kong[edit | edit source]

The Super Kong

The Super Kong was formed by Professor Chops a long time ago to help the Kongs navigate treacherous terrain and creatures in their quest to overthrow the evil penguin or tiki mask overlords. He can be summoned of Donkey or Diddy if they die eight times in a level. Once that's done, then they are reincarnated as the Super Kong. For some reason, he can live a life without consuming bananas.

Super Duper Luigi[edit | edit source]

"Super Duper Luigi"

To prevent confusion with the one known as "Super Luigi," we shall refer to the other variant of the Super Guide as "Super Duper Luigi." He is created by the main men at Nintendo to help those struggling with the death traps put out by Bowser. Otherwise, he's just like the Super Kong (well, that's the point).

Disclaimer[edit | edit source]

The Super Guide will not collect the following: Star Coins, Bananas, Banana Coins, or Puzzle Pieces. Upon more seasoned players, using the Super Guide is a big no-no.
