Shawn Mendes/The Post-Kids Choice Awards Feud of 2018

After the 2018 Kids Choice Awards, Shawn Mendes got very upset over what happened. His rival interrupted him Kanye West style during his speech. He wasn't present at the afterparty, so at 12 in the afternoon on March 25, 2018, he tweeted this:

The tweet gained 1 million likes in a day. 30 minutes later, Ed responded with, "I'm sorry not sorry @ShawnMendes. Fight me". Almost no one liked what Ed had tweeted out. And thus, the feud began a day later at 11:15 in the morning. During the feud, the hashtag "#IStandWithShawn" began trending. In the end, Ed got banned from attending and being nominated in the Kids Choice Awards for the foreseeable future.
The feud has garnered lots of media coverage, with YouTube videos talking about it.

The feud stopped at 12:00 in the afternoon. At 12:16 on March 26, 2018, Nickelodeon tweeted out a statement, saying that Ed will be banned from attending and being nominated in future Kids Choice Awards ceremonies. Here is the statement:
In response, Ed replied to their tweet with a middle finger emoji. Mendes, on the other hand, thanked his fans and Nickelodeon for saving his career.
