I'm new and I want to make spoken versions of articles, and I've noticed that there doesn't seem to be any sort of guide on how to do it. Does it work the same way as with Wikipedia? Geminin667 (talk) 14:33, 6 September 2020 (UTC)

All you need is a microphone and editing software. I recommend Audacity, since it's free. I use a Zoom H2n microphone/field recorder. I recommend recording at the highest possible resolution (most likely 24-bit/192kHz or 24-bit/96kHz or 24-bit/48kHz) and then bouncing it down to an MP3. Good luck with your endeavors. Have fun with it. Black-2.jpg PF4Eva, the President of Imagination Vote for me My tax returns 22:41, 6 September 2020 (UTC)
You upload the file, then embed it using Template:Listen. --EMC [TALK] 00:25 Sep 7 2020
Files uploaded from your computer can be no larger than 8 MB. If your file is larger (this tends to happen when recorded longer articles), you can use your editing software to break up the recording into as many files as necessary. Good luck.
