At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:Yelowsponge/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.

Template namespace vanity[edit source]
Hi there. You should stop creating vanity templates about gameFAQs. Vanity isn't allowed in the template namespace. If you want to make them, put them at a subpage of GameFAQs and include them with {{:GameFAQs/Some template}}. The template space should only be used for things which will be included on many pages, and the GameFAQs ones should only ever be used on the gameFAQs page, so there's no need for them to be templates. • Spang • ☃ • talk • 03:40, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
