Why?

I am new here. I wrote an article on David Blunkett. It was removed. By you. Why. Coherence is overrated. --81.174.241.227 14:55, 22 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Well, if you want to keep working on it, that's fine, but as I see it, the article is too short, and lacks any real comedic value according to HTBFANJS. Plus, it looked a lot like an advert--Flammable CUN 15:01, 22 Aug 2005 (UTC)

But I can't be bothered, I want my mummy, etc, wahhwahhhwahhhh. Fair play, I will try harder next time. And I wasn't aware that website existed either, nor did I even bother clicking the link. Oh Lord bless the internet.--81.174.241.227 15:02, 22 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Sorry, sorry. I didn't realize how damn hard it was to say nazi conservative crackwhore ten times fast. Libra it is. Although that article tends to indicate that a Libra can't be a crackwhore. Just a thought. --Famine 20:41, 25 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Abuse of Deletion

I would like to apologize for my previous comments; also, I would like you to restore Madonna's Fine Titty, which was a work-in-progress! Don't just delete pages on account of being stubs! 204.52.215.107 04:18, 22 Aug 2005 (UTC)

If you'd have told me that in User Talk I would have appreciated it more. Most of the time, if someone's in the middle of something, I'll let it go. My impression of the article was that it was a load of interconnected crap (which is common enough, believe me). If someone tells me they're in the middle of a work in progress when I delete, it's fine, but this is not wikipedia. It's a different standard. A lot more people think they're being funny when they post here, when they're not. On wiki, there's only one kind of neutral and factual.--Flammable CUN

Thank you. Whatever. 204.52.215.107 04:24, 22 Aug 2005 (UTC)

And while you're at it, could you please arbitrarily delete the 14 or so shite articles I've listed on Qvfd? =) --Marcos_Malo S7fc BOotS | Talk 04:30, 22 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Carlow Crab

Why is the page Carlow Crab deleted? --Dumbass O'Spanky

Read HTBFANJS The page itself lacked any real humor value from what I could surmise, and was just bad information on a series htat fails to exist. Plus, it's your penenace for making a whole bunch of worthless redirect pages. Plus, you've tried this on wikipedia. It's not that it doesn't exist, but that it jsut lacks any "oomph" as a comedic piece.--Flammable CUN 14:59, 23 Aug 2005 (UTC)

I'd be nicer, bu the whining/begging is getting on ym nerves, and seeing as hes done this before on Wikipedia, I don't think we need to bother with this crap. I suspect he's jsut goin to plaster it on to some other unsuspecting wiki/forum.

Pontius Pilate

Flammable,

I'm sorry to bother you but I was curious as to why you reverted my edit to Pontius Pilate ? I had used that particular edit to link the orphaned Hall & Oates although, as I wasn't sure if was the specific problem, I didn't know if it was alright to link the article to the bold text. Again sorry if I caused any problems with the article and thanks for your time. 205.188.116.73 07:08, 24 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Misplaced foreign language articles... new tag?

Hey, I was looking for a template tag to put on Chechnya, but couldn't find one. The closest I could find was your Template:What? but that mostly seems to be for confusing english. I was wondering if we could use a tag like this?

Nocomprendo.gif

What? Huh?
Viewing this page will kill you (and it) within a week.
Show it to someone who understands it so we can move it
appropriately, lest we become dangerously xenophobic and
Remove it in abject terror.

Something saying the page is not VFD, but could be put there within a few days if it isn't explained, moved, or justified (and maybe a new category with which to keep track of such pages). An alternate thought might be to modify your "What?" template to refer to foreign languages? Thoughts? -Splaka Bur. 21:16, 25 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Quality. Looks great.--Flammable CUN 04:46, 26 Aug 2005 (UTC)
I shalst construct it then. Shall I form it around the page being put on VFD along with the tag, or a warning that it will be put on VFD if it isn't explained/fixed? --Splaka Bur. SG CM © 04:55, 26 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Edited. Added VFD. I think it should be good. Unless "Xenophobic" is too hard a word. --Flammable CUN 05:01, 26 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Okie dokie! Think it sounds great, might not be overall funny. I think I'll call it Template:Qua?. --Splaka Bur. SG CM ©

Yarr. That was an award to RcMurphy for his prodigious deletion skilz. I'm thinking that any time an admin deletes something on the order of at least 5 articles/minute totalling at least 25, they get the award. This isn't limited to standard deletions either. Any deletions because of major work done on the site (read:cleanup/moving) counts, such as rcmurphy's removal of about 70 pages from the bugged deletions queue. I figured it was a crazy award to give. Plus, it's RCR. How can you not love RCR? --Sir Flammable KUN 20:36, 22 Sep 2005 (UTC)
Okdokie, I gave him the award then! (Hope that is ok) Mostly for the 10 per minute for 22 minutes in helping the move to the new Polish fork. I'll let Elvis promote him. --Splaka 21:48, 22 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Eh, I'd have to put another vote into the "don't find your stuff funny" box. The Keven Bacon add was amusing, but most of your English-based edits are pretty poor, and moderately inflamatory. I'm waiting for a second opinion before I whack them tho. Out of laziness. --Bone F clear.png Sir Famine, Gun Petition » 22:20, 10 Oct 2005 (UTC)

A bit Confused...

I just decided to take up the project of linking together french leaders, and began with creating the article Leader of France, that would list all of the leaders, much like Soviet Premier or US President does. But when I refreshed it was gone, so I remade it thinking there was an error. Then it was deleted again. Then, when I was trying to fix up a completely illegible article about King louis (inset random lols and 1's), it is marked with a move to undictionary within a minute. Then I check delete logs, and see that the leader of france article was deleted! The first time because it was a 'worthless' article, the second because it was 'peddling illegal shit'. I dont understand why it would get deleted within minutes of creation, to begin with, and then deleted again with this reason. I would like to know how exactly it was illegal, because I didnt really understand that.

I do enjoy writing at wikipedia, and it always is discouraging when my work is deleted before Im even able to go into any detail. If perhaps I am missing something, it would be good to clear things up to prevent further infringements on my part.Rangeley 21:19, 17 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Short "articles" get tagged with MTU unless they work as something short, or have a construction or work in progress tag (a stub tag might or might not prevent MTUing). You can remove the MTU only if you actually expand it, or move it of course. Now lets see if I and flammable can edit conflict... --Splaka 21:23, 17 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Alright, that part is understandable, but it always makes me cringe when within 1 minute of starting to edit it has already been tagged. But as to the other point, why was the leader of france article entirely deleted, and how was it 'peddling illegal shit'? Rangeley 21:33, 17 Oct 2005 (UTC)

This might help splain Flammable's actions, but I won't try to guess beyond that, you'll have to wait for his response. Btw, a handy way of keeping the admin and users from messing with your article before it is done, is to make a sub user page for yourself for works in progress, like User:Rangeley/temp or User:Rangeley/wip. When you have it ready you can [move] it to article namespace to transfer the history. --Splaka 22:23, 17 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Well, as it appears its more part of a massive deletion thing than anything, I will put the article back up in an expanded, hopefully less worthless form.Rangeley 22:26, 17 Oct 2005 (UTC)

I can see why Flam deleted it the first couple of times, and as it stands now, I think it's safe. Those were a bit more hasty deletions than normal, but when an admin goes on a rampage, shit like that happens. As Splaka said, do it up as a subset of your user page, or slap a "work in progress" template on it to indicate that you are indeed working, and not leaving piles of garbage around like 97% of the other users. Most of the time we'll check the history before deleting to see if someone's actively working, but occasionally the baby gets tossed with the bathwater. Because here, we grow about a hundred mutant babies a day, and we'd be knee deep in retarted articles if we didn't kill them frequently, in large doses. As for your plan, nice one. I look forward to seeing the deleted completed article. --Bone F clear.png Sir Famine, Gun Petition » 01:54, 18 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Yeah, if anything it was a short fuse day. I've been having one hell of a bad day. I didn't see where you were going with it at first, nor did I get the chance to see what it developed into. However, given the fact that a disordinate amount fos tupid happened within 2 hours of me logging and patrolling, I was a bit more ahsty than normal (Plus, I'm feeling particularly wretched today.)--Sir Flammable KUN 07:02, 18 Oct 2005 (UTC)

After that post, I'm debating slapping the Template:Incoherent here. WHat happened to you man? I shudder to think that a fellow god could be brought so low. Try another deleting spree. It may cure you. --Bone F clear.png Sir Famine, Gun Petition » 22:22, 18 Oct 2005 (UTC)
