At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, I started my first article, Thou in my userspace (User:The Woodburninator/Thou) before moving it to main space. Lets say you wanted to do an article on Johnny Depp. You could create this in your userspace as User:Bsudjg/JohnnyDepp) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.
If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. Additionally, the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program is there to bring experienced editors straight to you. First of all, I should say I intended to place the format version of the ICU, rather than the notfunny type (not least of all because I did appreciate the injokes - they remain the same, regardless of time and place, in every debating society I've ever had dealings with). Your article doesn't yet have the look and layout of an Uncyclopedia page, but I have no doubt you'll rectify that. As a result, I'll remove the ICU but recommend you put the construction tag on it to ensure it stays put while you work on it. Congratulations on creating an article, and welcome to Uncyclopedia. - Add the construction tab like this - {{ }} with 'construction' in the middle. There's a way of doing that without the tag appearing, but it's too early and I'm far too hungover to remember it right now. Unfortunately, Debating has been ICU tagged by User:RAHB. Luckily, he's one of our finest admins and, if you message him explaining that it's a work in progress, I'm sure he'll happily remove the ICU. RabbiTechno 09:46, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
