The reason why we left this message: Transphobia, when not used in jest, is not tolerated on this wiki. Remember, there are trans Uncyclopedians out there, who have already had enough of being constantly dehumanized when away from their computer screens.

No, your one black or LGBTQ friend does not automatically remove any possibility of you discriminating against others. The very small amount of LGBTQ people who supposedly support (insert bad thing here) or somehow think they're special for it (never seen this happen but it's a common homophobic argument apparently) are such a small minority of LGBTQ people and are just the ones who stand out. I've known many people who I never thought would be LGBTQ until they came out about it later, and they never brought it up when it wasn't context-specific. This type of discrimination is very annoying lately.
