I hope you enjoy the site and being an Uncyclopedian. Always remember to sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~) or use the "sign" button () above the edit box. This will automatically produce your name and the date.

If you want to start an article of your own it is usually best to start it within your namespace, for example, User:Skid 40145/Article about stuff. If you do this you can edit it at your leisure and move it over into the mainspace when it’s done. To start an article in the mainspace attach this template - {{construction}} to your work, so other Users will know you'll be back to finish it.

Should you need any help, do not hesitate to ask me on my talk page or ask at the Village Dump Forum. You can also add the following: {{help}} to this page along with a message and someone will come along and help you if they can. Additionally, the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program is there to bring experienced writers straight to you. Simply put {{adoptme}} on your Userpage to join. Userboxes

The best way is create a new one is to steal the code form one of the exiting userboxes Like this:

Re:Userbox

I followed your advice on making the userbox, but ended up with the thumbnail all messed up on. Check out my user page and see how it is now, and what i'm going for. Could you show me how to make it so that the picture fit in right with the text box, or even just edit it on my user page? I wanted the picture to be like User over 9000 in size and proportions. If you could help out, i would really appreciate it and i promise to stop bothering you for stupid stuff like this until i am become the ruler of uncylopedia.--Altair 00:16, 1 August 2008 (UTC)

You did alright, you just added a little too much in the image set up: [[Image:Sycamore|Thumb|right|250px|caption|somthing]]: this will create an image suitable for an article with frame and a caption, however for a user box the px needs to be very low and and not have any alignment (left/right) or thumb. It should be done like this: [[Image:Sycamore|60px]]. Hope this helps:)--Sycamore (Talk) 10:25, 1 August 2008 (UTC)

Sig!

Okay, so you wanted me to show you how to make it. Well first of all you need to create this page. This page will be your sig (however we'll talk about time being added and stuff later). On this page go wild...but not to wild, to create a nice sig. Obviously, you can change it at any time. Your sig should ideally have a link to your userpage, talkpage and maybe a link to your contributions. There aren't many sig laws - just don't make it really big or really small and make sure it has a link to your userpage.

Once you've created your sig at that page let me know and I'll go and have a little look at it and offer any help and then tell you how to start using it. :-) - [08:09 2 August] Sir FSt Don Yettie

Prety much what you said, expland the sections, links, Images (important) and pull the whole thing together, Should you not have time to complete the article, I suggest creating User:Altair/Hemophilia This manes that it is not in the mainspace and will not be deleted. For Pee review, you go here: Uncyclopedia:Pee Review when your article is reviewed it will be in the complete secton linked to at the top of the page (or here, Uncyclopedia:Pee Review/Reviewed Pee). I think you mean infoboxes and the ones that are used are all kept here: Infoboxes. Your sig looks alright and none of the code is spilling over, so well done. Hemophilia

Well i did use a template and it did take me fifteen minutes. I wanted to know if you could take another look at my article( imoved it back to mainspace) and tell me what else i could do with it. Also, will the sign at the beginning of the page go away by itself, do i need to contact an admin about it, or something like that. If you could, i would really apreciate it. Also, thanks for getting rid of some of my red links on my page before it got a warning, I've doing that so much on Things to do that i forgot to do that on my own page. The best I can advise is to add this: {{PeeReview}} to your article and submit it to Pee review. you're likely to get tips on how to improve it to the extent where you can remove the construction tag without the article being put up for deletion. For my opinion I would say that it looks alright and it's getting there and it looks to be a very decent first article.--Sycamore (Talk) 21:04, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
