Command & Conquer: Sole Survivor is a popular reality television game format produced in many countries throughout the world.

In the game, contestants are isolated in the wilderness in various maps (the famous map is the 18 player Afghanistan.map) and compete for random crates that can be to their advantage or disadvantage. For example, if the contestants are lucky they may be getting additional cash (which one will be jumping for joy but to realize after a while that cash is pretty useless in the wilderness), weapon upgrades, armor upgrades, speed boost, just to name a few. If they are unlucky, the crate just turn out to be an improvised explosive device or a mine that result in losing a few limbs or a head.

The game uses a progressive elimination, allowing the players to vote off a tribe member, usually it is a trend that the weakest link such as a n00b or a newbie is one of the main targets for elimination, until only one final contestant remains and wins the title of "Sole Survivor".

The format for Sole Survivor was created in 1992 by Charlie Parsons, and it took many talks and meetings with the developers from Westwood Studios to approve the production of the game, and eventually it was released in 1997.
