I just stumbled across this page, and it looks pretty good. Some hacking needs to be done on the navigation box, but it has a number of things that the current main page lacks. I'm wondering if we can somehow hack some other language into here. We at least need a ROT-26 language option, and I'm wondering if there is a way to do a global font change to translate this into Windings and some other sorts of gibberish. Er, languages. Languages. --Famine 22:08, 27 May 2005 (EDT)

Well, I like whoever redid the text to look more wikipedia. Shrug, maybe I should just put up two versions for the guys that seem to hate Rainbow Brite. They can bookmark that page instead or something. --Chronarion 18:49, 18 Apr 2005 (EDT)

old[edit source]

I like this layout a lot, but there should still be a small list of recent articles so people actually visit them. I emphasize small, and the recent articles included should be high-quality. --Savethemooses 10:29, 23 Mar 2005 (EST)

Oh, and I also like the idea of having a section on the news. An Onion-like satire section is a great idea. --Savethemooses 10:39, 23 Mar 2005 (EST)

It's rather pretty looking, yes... and closer to the Wikipedia appearance which gives Uncyclopedia +5 Parody --Machinecurse 19:55, 23 Mar 2005 (EST)

cool-o --stillwaters/Talk 20:08, 23 Mar 2005 (EST)

Me like. --Uvula Donor 20:11, 23 Mar 2005 (EST)

I'll have a segment on recently featured articles? --Chronarion 23:59, 23 Mar 2005 (EST)

Re: Recent articles That's good, but I would reccomend shortening the list of both recent and
requested articles. Maybe a limit to the lists, or some sort standard for additions. I don't
add every crappy stub I make to recent articles. I only add ones that I put a lot of effort
into and that I think will be good. If everybody adheres to that, we'll have a nice, neat list
of recent articles which can cycle every so often. --Savethemooses 18:16, 24 Mar 2005 (EST)

Right now I've got the "More News" link pointed at Current events... do we want to set up a separate news section instead? --Algorithm 05:08, 24 Mar 2005 (EST)

Can recent articles and requested articles be put next to eachother as two columns? A lot of space is being wasted by them both being full width --Paulgb 09:29, 24 Mar 2005 (EST)

I'm going to move the templates to horizontal once I move the layout over, so it won't waste space. Two columns looks strange because of the top thing. --Chronarion 12:42, 24 Mar 2005 (EST)

Yeah, it looks very wikipedia --Nytrospawn 14:44, 24 Mar 2005 (EST)

Melikey this format muchly. And a current events section would be fantabulous. I for one would contribute heartily to that. Additionally, I hope nobody minds that I changed the featured article in a shameless act of self-promotion. --Savethemooses 18:12, 24 Mar 2005 (EST)
