In reference to the comments on VFD...

Man, that really hurt my feelings. I mean, laziness on a wiki where I'm not being paid to do anything? I need to Don't some work ;). Seriously though, it wasn't really intended as a combo of memes. That's not where I was going with it. You can have an article about Kanye without referencing the whole "yo Taylor" thing. Mine had exactly one reference to that, the image, and it was a parody of the meme.

The story of why I wrote that article was that I was one day listening to the song "Young Folks" on Youtube, (because I freaking love that song), and I saw a link to the Kanye West version. I thought "ho boy" and decided to listen to it. Big mistake. The whole thing was about Kanye rapping about how awesome he is to the backbeat of Young Folks. He ruined the song for me. RUINED IT I TELL YOU! So I wrote this article as a jab to him, the whole joke being that Kanye is such an egoist that he would go to the trouble of "remixing" one of the more well known articles on a humor wiki, and of course make it about him. Judging from his "Power" music video, his egomaniac ways haven't changed, so the satire still stands in my opinion. That's why the article is so blatantly dumb by the way, because Kanye is.

I just hate how anything that even indirectly mentions a meme gets thrown into the whole "It's A MEME lazy writing ALERT ALERT!" pile, because the age of internet makes everything a meme. This was also written as a kind of tribute to AHHHHHH and uncyclopedia's cultural heritage or something maybe. It's hard to write a freaking tribute without it being somewhat like the original. That doesn't mean I'm a no talent hack who only copies memes. And the fact that you wanted to make an example of me? Who do you think you are? The fucking meme police? Do you drive around in a motorcycle pulling over wanton nyan-cats and ticket them for speeding and disturbing the peace? Just lighten up, alright? This is one of the reasons I'm semi retired. It's the reason one of the noobs I was semi-mentoring left. He got tired of all the nitpicking. Constructive criticism is great, I eat that shit up, but when you're like "oop references a meme, better delete" I dunno man, it just rubs me the wrong way.

I don't know why I went to the trouble of writing all this to one of my articles that I actually am less attached to. I think it's because of the whole "lazy writing" comment. I just want everyone to know that when I wrote this, I was drunk I didn't write it because I was trying to impress anyone or do my best writing. I knew writing this that it wasn't exactly a "feature" article. I wrote this because it was freaking FUN to write, and in my blind rage at Kanye I was kind of laughing as I wrote it. And honestly, while it's not the best article, I think it's good enough to exist. Not all articles here have to be perfect you know. If you try to prune off of the tree every single branch that has a blemish on it, guess what? You don't have a tree anymore, you have a stick. To be fair, I had this in userspace for a long time before I decided to mainspace it, and if in the future it gets VFD'd again and enough people vote "delete" please do me a favor and userspace it instead.

For the record, I still don't think this should be in Untunes either because it's technically an article, just an article Kanye feels is necessary to sing about. Either way, who cares really? The original AHHHH has audio (I think), but if you put it in untunes it would screw everything up. Untunes: AAAAAAAAA! 2010 Remix (Hosted by Kanye West) just doesn't have the same ring to it.
