NOTES: Read the List of plants and List of zombies before reading this.

Here is the second part of your massive torture. I hope you rest in peace after this.

Level 2-1[edit | edit source]

With Zomboss's base in America destroyed, Crazy Dave teleports the player to zomboss's England base in order to destroy more of his forces. The greatest feature of England is fog which covers the front half of the screen. In order to clear this fog, you need a plantern which will be available somwhere in this level, and protect it with a defensive plant like the wall-nut, but the gianut will be better as you will be literally overwhelmed right from the start. Keep your eyes open as we bring you into the greatest chain scam in zombie history!

  • Zombies: Regular Zombie, Conehead Zombie, Kicker Zombie
  • Unlocked Plants: Sun-Shroom
  • Waves: 1
  • Number of Columns with fog: 3

There is a new zombie in this level, and it is the Kicker Zombie. This zombie rushes into your lawn at hungry speed and kicks every single plant he sees, sending them off the lawn and killing them instantly. Since your current free plants can't do much against him, why not use the premium Gianut? He can make the zombie so tired that he will die, and it's one of its few weaknesses! Just make sure you be quick in saving sun as he is the fourth zombie that comes and sun comes slower at night, so you might want to use some coins to toss that zombie off the screen allowing you more time. Also zombies come in the manner of level 1-3 in this level, so you still have plenty of time.

Level 2-2[edit | edit source]

  • Zombies: Regular Zombie, Conehead Zombie, Buckethead Zombie, Kicker Zombie
  • Unlocked Plants: Plantern
  • Waves: 2
  • Number of columns with fog: 3

We are returning to Nintendo-hard faggotry right now – so select the Sun-Shroom, Sunflower, Puff-shroom, Gianut, Cherry bomb, and Power lily, Repeater, filler because it's getting fucking insane. A column of buckethead zombies will appear quickly into the 7th group of zombies so make sure you have your offenses ready at this point! (i.e. near-impossible if you use the strategy you used in PVZ1). The power lily can help you power up your puff shrooms to kill the zombies, however, so make sure you had bought it or it's hopeless! Once things get better, add repeaters onto the screen and be prepared to use a cherry bomb in the final wave because there will be like 70 zombies on screen.

Level 2-3[edit | edit source]

  • Zombies: Regular Zombie, Conehead Zombie, Buckethead Zombie, Football Zombie
  • Unlocked Plants: Gunk-shroom
  • Waves: 2
  • Number of columns with fog: 4

This level introduces an old friend – the football zombie, which now takes 90 hits instead of the former 80. And unlike the previous game, they appear in the 6th or 7th group of zombies then literally start swarming you. Now, choose sun-shroom, Puff-shroom, Plantern, Repeater, Gianut, power lily, cherry bomb and twin sunflower, and also prepare to use coins as well if you can't stand the craze. Now, after the 8th group of zombies appears zombies will start appearing with 70+ zombies on screen, with 10 football zombies, 30 buckethead zombies, 33 conehead zombies and about 20 ir soregular zombies on screen. And you forgot the plant food; but you won't see much anyway which is the reason power lily was here.

Level 2-4[edit | edit source]

  • Zombies: Regular Zombie, Conehead Zombie, Football Zombie, Kicker Zombie
  • Unlocked Items: suburban almanac
  • Waves: 3
  • Number of columns with fog: 4

Well, a kicker zombie will appear as the second zombie in this level and it only gets downhill from here. But you have the gunk-shroom which does not do damage but sticks a group of zombies in gunk. This can be useful for dealing with footballs and kickers, but it's still tough, so you might need some repeaters and beets as well. Since they are not area of effect you will invetably get overwhelmed, but you have instant kills alright. Use gianut to block those zombies and power lily to give you plant food as well, as plant food is so scarce that there is only 2 in this level, and you will get overwhelmed with wall-nuts because there are like 80 zombies on screen. Nasty.

Level 2-5[edit | edit source]

  • Zombies: Regular Zombie, Conehead Zombie, Buckethead Zombie, football zombie
  • Plants available in conveyor belt: Peashooter, Repeater, Wall-Nut, Potato mine
  • Waves: 3
  • Unlocked plants: Scaredy-shroom

Invisighoul level, only that there are much more zombies this time as INVISIBLE zombies are swarming down the screen. There are 4 zombies in this level, all making sound when hit by peas, here is your zombie identification guide;

  • Conehead Zombies make a dull thudding sound.
  • Buckethead zombies make a clang sound.
  • Football zombies make a dull thudding sound.

Especially the final wave will have like 70+ zombies on screen, so make sure you have your lawnmowers ready or you gonna get pwnt. Oh, did I forget coins?

Level 2-6[edit | edit source]

  • Zombies: Regular zombie, Conehead zombie, Horse cavalry zombie
  • Unlocked Plants: Fume-shroom
  • Waves: 2
  • Number of columns with fog: 5

A new zombie known as a horse cavalry zombie will appear, and what he does is his horse runs extremely fast and the zombie on top of it shoots your plants, and it takes it 5 hits to kill a plant, but wall-nuts and gianuts are an exception. But since there are obviously more than 2 of these in a horde, the wall-nut is not recommended. When it meets a plant, the zombie will stop shooting and the zombie horse will eat the plant like normal until it is eaten. This zombie has like 72 HP and there is most likely at least 20 of them in the first wave, and you need to choose the following plants: twin sunflower, sun-shroom, Puff-shroom, Squash, Repeater, cherry bomb, plantern, gianut, and power lily. What's worse, the zombies will literally swarm the screen that even with coins and all the premium stuff you are about to get overwhelmed epically. Especially when there are approximately 90+ zombies on screen, not even premium stuff can save you.

Level 2-7[edit | edit source]

  • Zombies: Regular zombie, Conehead zombie, Buckethead zombie, Horse cavalry zombie, Football Zombie
  • Unlocked plants: Pop-up shroom
  • Waves: 3
  • Number of columns with fog: 5

In this grueling torture Horse cavalry and football zombies conspire to overwhelm your plants with an insane amount of damage, although fume shrooms will relieve this a bit, it's still not enough to save yourself from getting owned, especially when 90+ zombies including 10 Horse cavalries, 15 football zombies, and 50 or so regular, conehead and buckethead zombies, all proof that you had not been scammed enough. You may want to replenish some coins after this faggotry, because you will need a lot of them.

Level 2-8[edit | edit source]

  • Zombies: Regular Zombie, Conehead Zombie, Queen zombie (two only)
  • Unlocked plants': Earth star
  • Waves: 2
  • Number of columns with fog: 6

The new Queen zombie does not do anything spectacular by itself, but when it appears, all zombies walk 2X faster, have double HP and can do double damage to your plants if they do eat. There can only be one at a time as one is enough to wreck havoc, as zombies come at a number of 90+ on screen just like the previous level, and thus preventing you from hitting the real target. It also takes 30 hits to kill as well, so make sure you smash it with a squash or a cherry bomb when it appears in order to prevent getting owned. Fume shrooms help as well, but other zombies still have a chance of owning you. Did I forget that it's heavily foggy out there?

Level 2-9[edit | edit source]

  • Zombies: Regular Zombie, Conehead Zombie, buckethead zombie, Queen zombie, Football zombie, Kicker Zombie
  • Unlocked items: Note
  • Waves: 3
  • Number of columns with fog: 6

Nightmarish, while gianuts won't get kicked by kicker zombies, they surely will get overwhelmed by the rest of the zombies, so bringing fume shrooms and a list of instant kills are a good idea here. The earth star is not an instant kill; it simply does 60 damage to zombies and multiplies, but since you might have been died before when you are without it, who cares? Anyway, be prepared to lose a few lawnmowers as there is no impregnable defense in this game.

Level 2-10[edit | edit source]

  • Zombies: Regular Zombie, Conehead Zombie, Buckethead Zombie, Queen Zombie, Horse cavalry zombie, Kicker Zombie, Football Zombie
  • Plants available in conveyor belt: Puff-shroom, Plantern, Fume-shroom, pop-up shroom, Earth star, Scaredy-Shroom
  • Unlocked plants Heat pad
  • Waves: 4
  • Number of columns with fog: N/A

This level will be pitch black and stuff are only visible every few seconds, and zombies come by the masses. Plant Scaredy shrooms and pop-up shrooms in the back, Fume-shrooms in the center, Puff shrooms in the front, planterns there as well, protected by pop up shrooms as they protect you like wall-nuts when they hide. Then pray for your best as zombies come in a number of hundreds, and Don't forget to use coins in emergencies. Kill queen zombies if you can, as they will make the zombies able to penetrate you faster; it's 10 seconds versus 5 minutes of time. Do the math and give up if you can.

Now this is the end of the chapter, but we are not over yet! You will have to collect an additional 27 stars to go to the next stage or pay them 6 USD, so for more see Mini Games and Stars.
