Aloha. What is Spam Protection Filter?

Command and Conquer - Generals, is protected by something. Ive searched about this inside FORUM and Ive read all of similar topics with this, but I couldn't get the answer. Some of them says Wikia strikes again. It is fixable?

I might find the answer when I read through all the long Uncyclopedia rules and guidelines, but forgive me coz I feel I wanna try using this FORUM thingy...anyways, I appreciate your help.--{{User:DaDopeboy/sig}} 07:44, October 23, 2009 (UTC)

Not sure what you mean by "protected." The page doesn't seem to be protected from editing, and there's nothing in the history that points to any sort of protection. --08:00, October 23, 2009 (UTC)
Thats a one another tricky thing. You can see my editing stops on August 18 but Ive tried many times since then. Later, however, some IP dude has successfuly edited on September 27. I felt like dumbass on that moment, and I believed it was a dream and tried to edit again - but the result was same.
The page you wanted to save was blocked by the spam filter.
This is probably caused by a blacklisted link or pagename.
I cant type the text triggered their spam filter. It results the same thing even on this FORUM either.--{{User:DaDopeboy/sig}} 08:08, October 23, 2009 (UTC)
Are you behind a proxy? There may be issues with that. If not, it's also possible that something is screwy with your IP. In both cases, I'd speak to an admin. /me pulls out pie, to draw in the admins --Andorin Kato 08:23, October 23, 2009 (UTC)
No Im not proxy. IP could be one of the reasons, but at least its not only me who reads this article often so it cant explain why editing has decreased sharply after August 18....So should I create another thread about this in "Ministry of Love"?--{{User:DaDopeboy/sig}} 08:41, October 23, 2009 (UTC)
Admin here. I have no idea what the hell you guys are talking about. You need to be more specific when summoning admins. You're looking for the rare "competent admin" (which takes pie and ice cream). DaDopeboy, perhaps you're trying to add, oh I don't know, a blacklisted link or pagename, like a four <big> or "penis" in the edit summary or an external link to tubgirl? Also, I don't know what you're trying to do with your sig, but entering it as four tildes, ~~~~, should make it appear as {{User:DaDopeboy/sig}} rather than that giant mess of stuff. If you're having problems with it, read this. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 08:46, October 23, 2009 (UTC)
Wait don't be a madman man. I know admins are working hard banning IPs being a dick so youknow I never do such a dick thing like putting "spam" words. And sig is a different topic here...(I'll fix it very soon). However on Command and Conquer - Generals article spam filter works on every compilations I did (even I didnt include the blacklisted word) and I just wanted to know whats happening. --{{User:DaDopeboy/sig}} 09:00, October 23, 2009 (UTC)

Wait a second... I just tried to edit my userpage, and I got the same "spam protection filter" thing. Probably because I included four <big> tags in the editing. Hmph. --Andorin Kato 08:44, October 23, 2009 (UTC)

Yes there are several words just like "s*uper viagra" (without *; which is keep blocking me) could ruin all of edits after clicking save page button. And I think theres no use complaining about that, since we can just remove those blacklisted words from the editing...but the odd thing is, when I edit C&C Generals article "s*uper viagra" sticks me up like paparazzi on every compilation. And keep "protecting" the article. --{{User:DaDopeboy/sig}} 09:00, October 23, 2009 (UTC)
Fixed. You should be able to edit the article normally now. (Fyi, what was happening was, the spam filter was picking up those two words, which were already in the article, presumably before this spam filter was implemented. Therefore, the filter picked up any edit you made that included those words as spam, and blocked it.) --Andorin Kato 09:04, October 23, 2009 (UTC)
Great. I couldnt find such a word was included in the article, and the filter was made later. Many thanks! --Dah Dope Boyz' 09:14, October 23, 2009 (UTC)
