I'm Japanese Administrator Muttley. We want to implement chat function to the Japanese Uncyclopedia, like English or other language of Uncyclopedia. However, in order to implement the function, necessary to manipulate LocalSettings.php of MediaWiki. In the past time, We could do it if We asked Carlb, but now he seems to be inactive. Where can I ask this kind of request, or Who can do the request we want to do ? Please let us know. Thanks.--Muttley (talk) 13:38, 21 June 2017 (UTC)

Hello Muttley, I don't know much about mediawiki myself so can't help you with implementing that chat function. Someone else might know. However, what I do know is we do not use any sort of mediawiki chat on this website, we have a chat channel on freenode which is accessible via IRC.
