• Something's wonky with Uncyclopedia:Ban_Patrol. It shows "I am Prof. Georg Muller, the twin brother of Dr. Evil. I'm currently a proffesor of New Math at the prestigous Evil Medical School university of blunderland were me and my twin brother earned our evil degrees." after Week of May 8...and it mangled my edit. My bad, I wasn't paying attention. Whodathough that having a ":" instead of a "|" would bring up a whole frikkin page? I think that next time I'll try to misput (new word, hurrah for me!) a different Pi character in there, just to see what happens. Moo, ha ha! Heh... inclusions are included via: {{}}, and when the software encounters those, it does a few things: First I think, then it checks if it is a parser function, then it checks if it is a magic word, then if it is a variable, then if it isn't any of those, it assumes (if there is no colon before a vertical bar) that it is a page to be included from template namespace. Eg {{NRV}} is the same as {{Template:NRV}}. If there is a colon (parser functions have colons but are checked before this step), then it grabs that page's absolute location, eg {{User:Splaka}}. For main article namespace (a null string), inclusions take the form of: {{:Main Page}}. So, by using : instead of |, you transcluded User:That_user_page instead of Template:User. Wow, it's amazing that we are both speaking the same language, yet I have no idea what you just said. I gave up actively learning about computer stuff after I spent hours trying to get both expanded memory configured and config.sys/autoexec.bat slimmed down enough to enable the extra effects in Wing Commander, and the "extra" just turned out to be a combination of your character's hand on screen and the bonus of cutting the framerate in half. Isn't technology wonderful? I'd give you a cookie for using "magic word" without first rolling d20 to see if you make your saving throw but, sadly, my Internet Explorer is set up to delete cookies. {{user:carlb}} inserts user:carlb, as if the entire user page were used as one big template
