Check this. This is the Dutch Uncyclopedia and we have a problem. Carlb hosts this website (and some more) but we have al lot of downtime, probebly 1/3 (sometimes 2/3) of the day the website is down or very very slow. We asked Carlb a lot but he doesn't react. What can we do? We lose a lot of visitors this way... Is it possible that we can transfer to the Wikia servers?? Please help us, greetings, Marconius 07:57, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

It's usually possible, as far as I know. But I don't work for Wikia, so I'd recommend talking to someone like Sannse. HOMESTAR ME!!! TURTLE ME!!! t o m p k i n s  blah. ﺞوﻦ וףה ՃՄ ண்ஸ ފއހ วอฏม +տ trade websites 00:02, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
I'd asked for that server to be replaced, last I heard (from eSecureData on Apr 4) was "We finally have pricing on the new G5 servers... P4 3.4 Dual Core, Two 500GB SATA2 HD (1 terabyte!), 4 GB RAM, All other specs are the same as the G4 servers... Right now, deployment is estimated for later in April." As soon as the faster servers become available, I intend to move these sites.

And no, I can't speak for Wikia. --Carlb 14:14, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
