“OFFENSIVE?! *TRIGGERED* NOOOOOOOOOOO!”

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) is a 2012 right-wing conservative first-person shooter developed by Valve, the same people that made that one right-wing game distributor, Steam. It is commonly referred to as "offensive" and outrageous by its critics. It is the fourth game in the Counter-Strike series, and the most popular one, primarily due to its political offensive nature. Developed for over two years, Global Offensive was in development longer than the lives of most people whom it offends. Valve continues to regularly update the game (unlike that shit game, TF2) both with smaller balancing patches and larger content additions.

The game has two teams, the Anti-Liberal Terrorists and Liberal Counter-Terrorists, against each other in different objective-based game modes. The most common game modes involve the Terrorists offending the Counter-Terrorists, or Counter-Terrorists attempting to rescue people that the Terrorists have offended. There are 2 genders- I mean, 2 official game modes, which have distinct liberal behavior and liberal characteristics specific to that mode. The game also has anti-liberal matchmaking support that allows players to play on dedicated Anti-Liberal servers by Valve, in addition to community-hosted servers with custom maps and game modes. A battle-royale liberal game-mode, "Danger Zone", was introduced shortly after the 2016 US presidential election.

Gameplay[edit | edit source]

Global Offensive, like prior games in the Counter-Strike series, is a right-wing conservative political objective-based, multiplayer first-person shooter. Two opposing teams, the Terrorists and the Counter-Terrorists (now called the Anti-Liberal Terrorists and Liberal Counter-Terrorists but only in Global Offensive), compete in game modes to repeatedly complete political objectives, such as spreading a political agenda and passing a bill. At the end of each short round, players are rewarded based on individual and team performance (with in-game currency for the Anti-Liberal Terrorists to spend on other weapons or utility in subsequent rounds, and LGBTQ pride parades for the Liberal Counter-Terrorists). Winning rounds rewards more money to the Anti-Liberal Terrorists than losing does, and completing map-based objectives, including killing liberals, gives additional cash bonuses.

Reception[edit | edit source]

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive received generally positive reception from right-wing critics, and very very negative reception from left-wing critics. Since the game's release, Global Offensive has remained one of the most played and highest-grossing games on Steam. The game has remained very popular with Republicans and Conservatives ever since its release, reaching a new record of 1.4 million concurrent Right-Wing players in March 2023, surpassing the game's previous Republican Record of 1.3 million in April 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Many of the games' negative reviews come from the small amount of left-wing players and woke critics. They have accused the game of being politically incorrect, primarily due to the fact that the game has the word "Offensive" in its title, and they have also accused the game of being in favor of the Republican Party, due to the overall nature of the game and its portrayal of liberals in a negative light.
