Zepathitis Virus (also known as Zepathitis-V, ZV or Zppai-virus) is a virus that allegedly broke out in Northern Europe in 2014. Some snoops, called power-snoops, can be fatal, as they might cause an intense shock reaction in their victim. The virus was never considered dangerous, but in the years 2019 and 2020 it has been growing significantly, let alone some recently generalized fatal cases. Although Zepathitis Virus is a disease to keep in mind, it's always good to remember that it's still a very rare illness and therefore not worth panicking.

Symptoms[edit | edit source]

  • Excessive snooping, especially on head area. Snooping is often targeted at other people or animals
  • Excessive need to squeeze hand in-between other people's bodily parts, also known as taittoes
  • Extreme loss of intelligence
  • High-pitched voice
  • Difficulty expressing oneself, disorganized speech
  • Tremendous, sudden weight gain
  • Extremely slow response time
  • Vocal tics, like barking
  • Occasional echolalia
  • Socially unacceptable facial expressions, also known as Zppai-faces. These expressions also often include small dog-like voices
  • Socially unacceptable behaviour in overall
  • Psychotic periods, especially in stressful situations
  • Sometimes an inconceivable ability to contact divine forces. These are often referred as Z-contacts. This, though, is very rarely met in patients

Believed extinction through executions[edit | edit source]

In November 2020, two scientists found that if two infected animals or people did a powersnoop to each other, the would both shortly die. This was obviously a huge discovery since the Z-Virus was thought to make the victims immortal. International Snooping Academy (ISA) organized a massive mass execution project, in which all infected would meet a given pair and do powersnoops to each other in a short span of time. However, something seems to have gone wrong. The scientists were certain that all the victims would have strong motives to die, yet somehow two dogs in particular seem to have survived the mass extinction. These two dogs, also known as Zppai and Zirppa, were confirmed dead two hours after the executions, but the family reported that Zppai (and later Zirppa) had appeared in their apartment less than a week later. Thus, the execution project was a humiliating failure. Some people have been blaming the ISA on the saddening events believing that they had played a part in the failure.

The Second Wave[edit | edit source]

After the unsuccessful executions, Z-Virus has been spreading widely. The post-execution era has been referred as "The Second Wave", or a little less commonly "The New Snooping Hell Back on Earth, Fucking Shit for Real!". The Second Wave seems to be, according to the scientists, a lot more fatal and dangerous overall. In less than 5 months, the virus has been reported to having spread to at least the USA, Spain, Equatorial Guinea and multiple parts of Finland. Therefore, the virus seems to be a lot more contagious, on top of some strengthened symptoms. However, despite all the changes, Z-Virus doesn't seem to be a cause for concern. There are a lot more dangerous viruses out there, but remember that if you hear the recognizable Hunt sounds, lock the doors, don't go outside, and fear for your life.

Hunts[edit | edit source]

Since 2019, patients with the virus have been found to go on a hunt, called snooping hunts. When these hunts are seeming to begin, people are guided to stay locked inside for a few days. Snooping hunts are usually easily predictable because of loud sounds of sniffing and recognizable Zppai sounds. The hunts are known to be quite dangerous as the patients often use their powersnoops to infect or even kill people. Despite people's best efforts, the patients have adapted so well that they are constantly coming up with new ways to break into houses and hideouts.

Treatment[edit | edit source]

There is no known cure for Zepathitis. Some infected dogs have to use a muzzle or mouth protector to prevent the virus from spreading.

Unfortunately, there is no known cure or medication to manage Zepathitis Virus. Most patients diagnosed with ZV are often sent to International Snooping Academy (ISA) that is located in Lappeenranta in Finland. In ISA patients, that are mostly humans, dogs, cats, and dog-cats, are thaught to snoop in a better, more friendly way. The reason the academy was originally created was to quarantine patients, but most of them can nowadays hover outside the academy areas.

Conspiracy Theories[edit | edit source]

Some conspiracy theories have been introduced, but none of them have been taken seriously. In 2020, a patient of ISA, calling himself Zppai Jr., had a theory of AronChupa having created the virus on purpose. The whole theory began when the patient claimed having heard "Zepathite" in the song I'm an Albatroz. After a long research process experts found that AronChupa actually said C'est parti!, which is French and means "let’s go" when translated to English. According to the authorities, the theory seemed so far-fetched that it was immediately turned down. The patient is now being held in the Mental Asylum of ISA.
