AI generated slop is venereal disease posing as a genre of images commonly posted on social media platforms to farm engagement, most specifically Facebook due to the large number of clueless and/or brain dead individuals residing there.

Origins[edit | edit source]

AI generated slop posts have been around for years, but they started to evolve into their form today with the release of more detailed AI image generators such as DALL-E and Midjourney in 2023. They originally took four primary forms:

This image is fake, because if Donald Trump was really there, he would have huffed the kitten.

These AI generated slop posts reached newsworthy status by December 2023, when tech "journalism" outlet 404 Media posted an article cataloguing numerous accounts posting AI generated slop.[2]

As of March 2024, Meta claimed that they would begin labeling AI generated content as such across all their platforms, but have yet to even begin as of December 2025.

On Facebook[edit | edit source]

Facebook has so much AI generated slop (and old people) that listing all of it would be impossible, so here's an AI slop picture of Jesus after being the subject of 10 million AI slop-posts. AMEN, GOBLESS!

Miners found this in a cave underneath the Empire State Building! Share if you believe the Empire State Building is a shrine to Jesus!

On YouTube Shorts / TikTok[edit | edit source]

One example of the AI Generated Slop disease permeating platforms like YouTube was the "AI Sad Cat Videos" popular back in late June/July of 2024.

People would often film videos of their kids crying over them. These are often paired with a cat covering the song "What was I made for" by Billie Eyelash.[3] Possibly a ghost-in-the-machine attempt at a cry for help from the AI at being force to endlessly generate these videos day and night.

On YouTube[edit | edit source]

The Fugitive Crime is 100% an AI Generated YouTube channel because, come on, one look at his thumbnails and you'll see he has yet to discover Photoshop or even pay a human employee.[4]

Italian Brainrot[edit | edit source]

Italian Brainrot is a sub-species of YouTube shorts featuring a picture of the Italian brainrot character, (for this example we will take Tung Tung Sahur), and saying their name while featuring some sort of "backstory". It is considered to be a part of the MCU multiverse as a result of the various conflicting backstories for each character. Crossover events are frequent as well, as Tung Tung enjoys beating the others with a baseball bat, and the teacup frequently cheats on her partner which results in her getting a beating. The key word is "rot" in this form of content, which explains what's going on in any given scene.

Squint and see the magic! Haha, you look Chinese now
