Hello, Webby790, and welcome to Uncyclopedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If not, the door's right over there and there is a window over here if you don't fancy walking down the stairs. Anyway, here are a few good links for people like you:

At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but most people enjoy writing something while they are here and ever so occasionally we write something worth reading. Check out Pee Review if writing work seems a bit too much of an effort,
If you need help, ask one of us, or ask on my talk page. You can also look into the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program.
Just remember the rules, especially the first 3.

Just wondering[edit source]
I was just wondering, do you like zombies? Aleister 14:09 8-2-'11
- Ah, you moved some zombie things off of your user page. Anyway, hello again, and may your experience here be one of ultimate joyfrustration. And remember as you move thru the corridors of Uncy, this land is your land. Except when the admins stomp all over you (I'm not an admin, so my stomping is sterile). What are your hopes and dreams and nightmares here? Aleister 13:10 10-2-'11
- And make an article you shall! Have you looked at the category:Zombies, and the two other zombie categories? They would show the zombie pages already here. As for a zombie club, I don't know. Zombies. And have you met Zombiebaron? He's our chief resident Zombie. A great guy. He's written some good zombie books. More soon. Aleister 23:59 10-2-'11
- I answered you on my talk page, it's best to keep discussion on one page, so we can talk here or there. I don't adopt, but will be happy to answer what I can and give suggestions when needed. Just let me know when you're stuck or need an answer, and if I know it I'll say something or if not can maybe suggest who would know. There's lots of information here about many things and many writing suggestions too. And feel free to write people. But you should sign your name though, so people know who's writing them. I'm not good at making signatures. What are you going to write next? Aleister 11:37 11-2-'11 lots of 'levens

Greetings, newish one.[edit source]
I couldn't help but overhear a couple of your conversations and figured I'd drop by and give some unwanted advice. Also, hi.
For one thing, adoption is all very well and fine, but as you already seem to have an Aleister looking after you, you've already gotten better than you could from most adopters. Don't tell them I said that, though. And for another thing, don't forget to sign your name on talkpages and whatnot, mon. Just use four tildes (~~~~) and it'll put both a link and a timestamp; helps folks sort out what's even going on, as well as when.
For another other thing, if you've a question for someone, don't put it on their talk archive, put it on their talkpage! A new section at the bottom, mon, you know. You had questions for ChiefjusticeDS? Put them on his talkpage proper. As for that article he huffed (fancy word for 'deleted'), if you ask nicely (on his talkpage), he'd probably be willing to undelete it and give you a copy back, although if it really didn't have any content, that was probably why he deleted it in the first place. In general, if you do want to create an unfinished article in mainspace, use a {{construction}} template and the adminatti will be more inclined to leave it be, at least until it goes unedited for a week; otherwise you may want to just create it in your userspace (ie, User:Webby790/HowTo:Survive a zombie apocalypse) for the meantime and move it out when it's done.
Yesh. Hope that helps. Cheers. ~ 20:09, 11 February 2011
- By the way, Lyrithya, other adopters can read your comments here. Although having a hand up from Al is better than adoption 9 times out of 8. Pup 10:42 11 Feb '11
- Yes, and most of them suck. Good to see you agree. ~ 23:55, 11 February 2011
Hey again[edit source]
When working on a new page it's advisable to add a {{construction}} tag on it. Having said that construction tags are a double edged sword - it means that it won't be deleted for a week, but if you get distracted by a side project then it sits there beton a week and an kindly old admin deletes it with barely an evil cackle. If it is truly something that you're wanting to develop then create it in your user space as User:Webby790/HowTo: Survive a zombie apocalypse first. Also have a look at what has already been created around zombies on here. You don't have to follow the structure or the premise of existing articles - in fact 99 times out of 100 you're better off not doing that - but there may be some material elsewhere that you can steal incorporate into your piece to give it a little more context. Also, feel free to turn around to people who have done a significant amount here and ask for feedback. PEE review is a fantastic tool, but often you can turn around to a regular and say "Hey, kindly old user, what do you think of this piece so far?". Best thing about that is everyone here likes to stick their nose into other peoples business, so it's likely that asking one person will get you 28 responses. In some cases, 28 responses from the different personalities of te one person, true, but still useful. Pup 12:23 15 Feb '11
