Hey, you. Yeah, you - The Holy Pug. Welcome to Uncyclopedia, the humor wiki. That's us. You're going to need to know a few things to write things and do things halfways decently, and some things to blend in with the crowd - you know. Be part of the community.

1. Create a user page for yourself by clicking your name in the top right hand part of your screen if you haven't done so already. Put a list of your articles on there, and a fake biography and whatever you want there. Just make it halfways original, except for the user boxes.
2. Read the Beginner's Guide because that will give you a better overview of what to do than I can.
3. Read How to be funny and not just stupid. That way you know why your article, or section of an article, was deleted. If you haven't had any articles deleted yet well, you probably will have at least one deleted eventually.
4. Make yourself a custom signature.
5. When writing in talk pages and on forums, sign your message with four tildes(~~~~) or just press the 10th button up there on the editing toolbar to insert it after your message.
6. Get yourself acquainted with how to make good pages at the Sandbox
7. If you run out of things to write check out Requested Articles, and Inspiration. UN:PIC and UN:AUDIO should give you some help as well if you're looking for some custom made pictures and some reading for your article.

There are probably other things you need to know, but if you need to know anything more, ask on the Help Forum.
