Signature argh![edit source]

Hey. Good to see someone around who knows a little about code. About your signature though, there's a page on signature guidelines (UN:SIG) that you might want to check out. The reason is this:

[[User:Tboii99|<span style="color:#FF0000; background:#00BFFF; font-family:comic sans ms"> '''Tboii99''' </span>]][[User talk:Tboii99|<span style="color:#08088A"> <big><big><big>✉</big></big></big> </span>]]

Is kinda ugly. We generally encourage people to add their signatures in templates, like this:

{{User:Tboii99/sig}}

Of course, you can just dump the code you have been using in your signature into there, and then add the link into your preferences in something that looks vaguely like this:

     Signature
Existing Signature: Tboii99
Custom signature: {{subst:nosubst|User:Tboii99/sig3}}

I want to use wikitext in my signature
What are signatures?

Or something like that. Ignore the choppy code that put the above together. (Although given you'll probably look at it, you'll notice it's a combo of html, inline css, and wiki markup. You have the first two of those, the wiki markup won't take long to pick up.)

The other aspect of your signature - we have height restrictions. That means, in short, you can't use the <big></big> in your signature. You can feel free to use a svg version of that character within your sig, as long as it's not taller than 15px. (Although I have no idea where you're going to find Envelope.svg as a file.) I'm responding here, as you may not be used to haunting other people's talk pages yet. And you're welcome. Are you working on any article in particular yet? Feel free to grab me at any time for advice. Most of the best learning here comes from asking people what to do, or making a mistake and having them tell you what to do. (And everyone makes mistakes.) Nominally Humane! 12:34 16 Apr
