Since you like the third idea...what I suggest is, we think about the two characters first, have a vague idea what the boss is like and what the other co-workers are like.
I could suggest that one of the characters is a lot bolder, evil, stupid, jock like and the other is a little more hesitant about things, prefers not to, but the evil guy always ends up talking him into doing everything. As per their personality or funny things, you should have an idea about your character and Ill do mine. Ill probably come up with a list of 5 to 10 adjectives which help describe what hes like.
I imagine the boss as some total bitch who has no time for joking around.
The other coworkers, it will be difficult to describe, since this is a dialogue and its difficult to describe other characters, when in reality, what we are writing is just a chat. However, I assume that they are all just nice ordinary people who wont even say anything, even when they are sent to the hospital, as they are a little afraid of our two characters.

Okay, here and here are the 'demos' of the guy-talktemplates. As you can see, they are really not ready. They need pictures and names and I'll maybe edit Guy 1's template a little. And... Eh... I did a mockup here. Since this is going on in an office, they will have to have more subtle names. We could think of a name that can appear professional but could be taken as naughty if you read it the right way.
Is there any way to indent the second speakers box one or two tabs to the right so that they spacially alternate (white at left margin, black five cenimetres to the right of the left margin?)

- As the chat would be in an office, I thought some pranks that are dealing something with computers. AND, if this situation is held up in a hot summer day, the other workers would have some waterbottles or something like that? Coke? Tea? Coffee? And, because you had the idea of a 'bad guy' and 'not really very bad guy', I thought of that if the bad guy does really bad pranks, and the other one tries to do something similar but not really that rough (at first), but somehow fails at them doing greater damage than was planned. In the end (or near end), the 'good guy' starts to turn much eviler and doing much more damaging pranks. I had the idea of a worker who is drinking coffee, for example, and the 'bad guy' (sorry, I don't remember the names anymore and I'm too lazy to check those. I'll call them 'bad' and 'good' guy.) puts some knockout drops into it. The worker, well, knocks out ( but doesn't die). The good guy is trying to something similar because the bad guy encourages him to do. He takes other workers water bottle, and, because isn't really such bad guy, fulls it with some lemon lemonade (Sprite?) which he thinks isn't really that serious. Well, the worker is allergic to lemons, gets an allergic reaction and dies. That, is altough one example, hope you like it.

The idea of the characters developing like that is AWSOME. It wont be so easy to communicate to the reader via chatting online, but its doable and challenges are good.
Why do they hate their boss? The boss will either be hospitalised, or be arrested and sent to jail for one of the pranks they do ;) What do you think? --ShabiDOO 18:38, June 21, 2012 (UTC)
