Michael David Boffey, better known as Beats boffey (born 5 May 1992 in Perth), Western Australia) is an Australian electronic music artist, disc jockey, and mixer. As a musician he works mainly within the jungle and drum and bass genres, and has helped to promote these styles within his school.

He is of Australian and English heritage. In his formative years he attended Mt Claremont primary school, but later to moved to prestigious boy's school Christ Chruch Grammar School, where he immediately developed a homosexual fixation on fellow student William Mackenzie Crisp. His recent activities have sparked controversy among the schooling community. On the 8th of November 2008 Michael attended the bucks party of his cousin, and proceeded to imbibe in alcoholic beverages for the first time.
