I hope you enjoy editing here and being an Uncyclopedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~) or use the "sign" button () above the edit box. This will automatically produce your name and the date.
At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:Raja1020/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.
If you want to write and don't know where to begin, browse our rewrite and idea categories. We have lots of articles just sitting around for someone to improve, so don't be afraid - dive right in!
If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. Additionally, the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program is there to bring experienced editors straight to you. Simply leave a message on an adopter's talkpage to join. Again, welcome! -- Lieutenant THEDUDEMAN Dude ... Totally UOTM KUN GotA F@H 01:54, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
How 2 adminz?[edit source]
How do you get adminned? Well, asking right out and making low quality edits is typically a step in the wrong direction.
Also, learn to grammar. I'll talk more when you can tell me the difference between "you're" and "your" --Sir Flammable KUN (Na Naaaaa...) 00:05, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
- Oh noes, you invoked the terrible Flammable. Duck and hide! ~ 09:08, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
- QUACK.--Sir Flammable KUN (Na Naaaaa...) 14:00, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
- It'd be good if you kept the conversation here, since it's hard to keep track of a conversation across two pages. Read the welcome post on the talk page above, and click on some of the introductory links. Adminning comes with consistent, helpful contributions to the community and other ways of proving you can maintain the (structural) integrity of the wiki. It's something you work to earn, just like an adminship on wikipedia.--Sir Flammable KUN (Na Naaaaa...) 05:41, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

Time for a Sit-down[edit source]
For someone that's only too interested right off the bat about getting an adminship, you're doing an awful job of convincing us that you're on the right path.
A big part of doing well here is being devoted to quality in everything you do, just like the folks at wikipedia. Please take the time to read BGBU and HTBFANJS so that you can get an idea of what passes for acceptable here.
Small edits are nice, but only if they fit in with the page. There's a noticeable amount of really bad small edits in your history, and the problem with that is that a consistent flow of bad small edits sum up to become a lot of bad small edits over a large number of pages. Guess who needs to clean all that up?
Me, Other admins, and other users. And really, if we have to capitalize a letter or fix a grammatical error every time you post, you can be sure that that's not putting you anywhere near the fast track toward an adminship, let alone toward any modicum of respect or appreciation from the community on this wiki. It should already be clear that those other people are the people who will enable you to get an adminship.
Fortunately, this is a good opportunity for you to do well. You just started, and as such, you have a lot more room in which to improve. I'll lift this ban in about an hour if I remember. Otherwise, consider it a two hour time out so you can get your act together. --Sir Flammable KUN (Na Naaaaa...) 21:46, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
- So much for lifting that ban... Assuming you ever get back, a word of advice: Blanking the pages of ops isn't really a good way to gain their respect. Once you've gained their respect, you can continue on your journey to being (maybe one day) an op (the next step, by the way, is bribery). I speak from experience that it's kind of hard to bribe an op into giving you op rights if you're permablocked. 01:24, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
