The Departed[edit source]
For future reference, the best thing to do instead of using the Main Space for your construction ground is to use your user space. Example: http://en.uncyclopedia.co/wiki/User:Pythonofdoom/The_Departed
This will keep your article from bein' QVFDed until you are finished with it.
Alvin and the Chipmunks[edit source]
Why'd you rewrite this? The old version was funnier. Longneck Bottle 12:38, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
Friendly Tips[edit source]
Hi there Pythonofdoom, do you mind if I give you a couple of tips?
- If you intend to rewrite an article, and want to start by stripping out the existing content, do it in your userspace, as Tom advised you about The Departed - User:Pythonofdoom/Alvin and the Chipmunks, in this case. There, you'll be able to work on it at your leisure - if people see most of the content being removed, they tend to revert, as you found above. Once you think your rewrite is betterer, get a pee review to confirm this, then you can move your rewrite over the existing article, citing the pee review. That way, hopefully, everyone's happy!
- You've now got 3 lengthy, in-depth pee reviews for articles you've created. Why don't you see if you can take the advice you've been given and improve those articles? That should give you plenty to do for a while!
- Don't eat the yellow snow.
Give it some thought anyway. Cheers! --UU - natter 15:09, Nov 13
