Is this an impersonator? Automatic merging imported account with new account username? Hth why didn't the system block this? TiazuGotAutism333 (talk) 01:50, 11 August 2024 (UTC)
- @TiazuGotAutism333: From what I know, Uncyclopedia was originally under a different domain (as part of wikia), but then it was imported to a different web domain when they realized wikia was too much restrictive. Those that didn't register in the new domain (which is the one where we're writing now) count as if they never registered here, but their old userpages still were imported despite the site not recognizing them as existing users anymore. If someone happens to register now under a username that already existed in the old domain, the site counts them as a new user, but their userpage will be the same that the user with the same name had in the old domain. - @DaniPine3: sadly somehow the 2018 domain "uncyclopedia.com" still count imported user as a user so impersonate is not possible there. TiazuGotAutism333 (talk) 02:02, 11 August 2024 (UTC)

- Let me explain. This wiki is really old, and it originally was under a different domain, but due to several reasons, they emigrated to a new domain, where they imported the contents of the original wiki. Because several users didn't move to the new wiki, they aren't recognized by this wiki as existing users; but because their userpages and talkpages were imported here, they still exist, even though their corresponding user doesn't. And it just so happened that you registered here under a username that already existed in the old wiki, but not in the new one; which is the reason why your userpage already exists years before you logged here.
