Oscar's Big Adventure (Japanese: オスカーは大きな陰茎として彼の陰茎を見に来る) is an ongoing hentai series published by the UnHentai division of Uncyclopedia's UnBooks publishing company. Originally written to introduce Oscar Wilde to Japan, the series has since been reprinted in over 5 languages, including children's editions.
The series features different storylines in which Oscar Wilde has sex with Oscar Wilde, or occasionally multiple Oscar Wildes at the same time.
Criticism[edit | edit source]
While beloved by fans of Uncyclopedia worldwide, Oscar's Big Adventure has faced criticism over the years, with many critics noting that every character being named Oscar Wilde makes the action hard to follow at times. Famed hentai critic Noel Coward has been a vocal detractor of the series since its inception, famously referring to it as "Auster's Misadventure". UnHentai appears to welcome criticism and regularly reposts savage reviews of Oscar's Big Adventure on their social media.
20 July 2015 bombings[edit | edit source]
On July 20 2015 a series of coordinated improvised explosives were set off around the globe by terrorists known as "The Wildeboyz", a group advocating for UnHentai to make a feature length Oscar's Big Adventure film. No fatalities resulted from the explosives, although major property damage was reportedly sustained by many of the Wildeboyz' homes. To this day UnHentai has never publicly acknowledged the event, which has led many critics to decry the company for supporting violent actions.
2017 protests: Occupy Oscar[edit | edit source]
In May of 2017 a temporary city of protestors, inspired by the 2011 Occupy Wall Street encampment, began to assemble on the lawn in front of Uncyclopedia headquarters. The goal of the protest was to convince UnHentai to include a Sophia character in Oscar's Big Adventure. At its peak Occupy Oscar had nearly 10 citizens, but as autumn approached they were forced to abandon the struggle and go inside.
