Hah! Hooooaaaaaah! Greetings, and welcome to my dojo, ninja apprentice. I have been observing your skills from the peak of Mount Hakanakagooi, and the gods have instructed me to promote you to basic ninja. However, I require that you demonstrate knowledge of oral combat. Yes, I mean yelling. You don't have knowledge of this? OOOOHHHH! We must teach you. Come, sit, have herbal tea while you listen to instructor.
Oral Combat[edit | edit source]
Hah![edit | edit source]
Perhaps the most standard of all generic kung fu noises, Hah! is punctuated with a single, distinct exclamation point, causing a quick, short, snappy sound that can be conveyed in full within less than a second. Hah! is an essential technique used by Kung Fu Masters and lowly Apprentices alike, and is the building block of almost any Kung Fu Noises dojo. Roughly translated, Hah means something akin to "Man, fuck you!"
Wuuuuaaaaw![edit | edit source]
The evolution of Hah!, Wuuuuaaaaw! is the second simplest of the generic noises. It can be delivered over a time of between 2 seconds and 10 seconds, and is punctuated with a not-so-distinct exclamation point. Wuuuuaaaaw! is used when moving into the fighting stance, or when executing long moves such as flying side kicks. Literally translated, it means "Death be approach", but in context means "It's goin' down, punk!"
