Olive Garden is known for its family friendly environment, Playboy endorsements, and its great good passable Italian food. But what it's known for even more than that is it's commercials which depict wildly inappropriate scenes full of happy families and friends enjoying each others company.
This unnaturally common sight in Olive Garden commercials has been proven to be caused by the people employed for the commercials. Normal actors are turned down on the spot. If you have a resumé as an actor you are not welcome on the set of an Olive Garden commercial. Only those who have no acting experience, but have some other kind of experience make the final cut.

In October 2008, one of Olive Garden's most famous "actors," Charles VanWolden, accidentally mistook the Olive Garden casting studio as a young girl's house (see "girl who gives blow jobs in the school bathroom"). He attempted to explain his blunder to casting instructor, John Hasselbeck, who noticed the greatest opportunity ever to walk into his casting studio.
