Mime Club is an underground organization developed to allow people to escape their mundane speaking lives by competing head to head in the ancient art of Mime. A majority of it's members have had no formal training in the Art of Mime, which is responsible for its exponentially increasing popularity. The organisation has come under criticism both from the general society for it's alleged cult-like practices, and from traditional Mime practicers for the rising view of Mime being a religion and Mime Club being its only church.
History[edit | edit source]
Foundation[edit | edit source]
Mime Club was founded in 1978 by the successful Mime and author, admin x the Mime. X had become disillusioned with the world after being forced to speak to promote his novels, and started attending various support groups. Attending these groups brought X away from the brink of insanity and convinced him that the way to salvation was through the elimination of vocal communication and the ancient art of Mime. Since then, he has been filled with an unquenchable desire to help others find his same path. One day after being frustrated with the difficultly in ordering a Big Mac with speaking, he ran into another Mime who had just experienced the same frustration at a nearby coffee shop. Both of them took turns speaking in Mime. X found it an excellent release from his daily frustrations, and hence Mime Club was born.

- Word of the club spreads rapidly and becomes much more popular.
- X mutates the club to his bidding.
