Step #1 Turn the Article into a template[edit | edit source]
As a general rule, templates tend to survive better on VFD than articles. However, this is the main reason why you should transform your article into a template. If your template is deleted by VFD or other deletion procedures, as long as its used somewhere, MadMax will restore it template space. In order to insure that your template is used somewhere, spam it on your userspace subpages. Except in rare instances, your userpages will be left unaltered, and links to your "deleted" template will remain.
Also, try to make your article-turned-template as small as possible. That may get you an extra keep vote or two two on VFD.
If you find your article can't be turned into a template, then try turning into unNews. UnNews is immune from most quality control processes. Unless it is so bad that Zim_ulator QA fails it, your article will almost definitely not be deleted if it is unNews space.
Step #2: Mention Oscar Wilde in the Title[edit | edit source]
Articles that mention Oscar Wilde in their title often get 2 or 3 more keep on VFD than they would otherwise get. Unlike templatifying, or even UnNewsifying, mentioning Oscar Wilde will not save everything. However, it may give your article that push it needs in order to over a VFD nomination.
Please note that only the name Oscar Wilde significantly helps your article. Adding the name of other uncyclopedia memes, like Mr. T, Chuck Norris, Paris Hilton, and the like will actually hurt the changes of your article on VFD, and attract VFD nominations.
