What is UnStudios?[edit | edit source]
UnStudios is an UnProject that focuses on the creation of audio and video content for Uncyclopedia. In addition to enhancing existing articles, this material will be specifically featured on the website’s social media outlets such as Facebook and YouTube channels.
- Goals
- Improve Uncyclopedia’s coverage of audiovisual content.
- Create material for Uncyclopedia’s YouTube channel.
- Contribute to individual projects (or find people who can)
- Scope
- UnStudios would bring various audiovisual UnProjects (UnNews Audio, UnTunes, et al.) under a single parent project.
- Audio section: Internet radio, podcasts, recording music, spoken articles
- Video section: Commercials, music videos, short films and webseries

- One editor proposes a series of idiotic ideas to another editor (see: Alan Partridge)
- Based on the above, a fictional Uncyclopedia user makes a series of YouTube videos. (see: Alan Partridge)
- Spoof commercials and trailers (and those for actual Uncycopedia film articles)
- "An open letter to the guy who vandalized my Userpage"
- "Ask a Bureaucrat", a spoof YouTube video where viewers ask a fictional official basic questions about the government. Variations might include "Ask an Ambassador", "Ask a Lobbyist", "Ask a Press Secretary", et. al.
- A fictional documentary on Weird Al Yankovic ("Uncyclopedia presents ... Weird Al: This Is Your Life")
- Filming a fictional segment of UnNews using past stories. Possibly test out different formats (e.g. Fox News, CNN, BBC News, etc.)
- Filming a fictional Uncyclopedia Conference, possibly an already existing one (e.g. 1846 Uncyclopedia Convention at Aurora, New York), or a video chat (e.g. CANADA vs U.S.A vs AUSTRALIA vs UNITED KINGDOM).
- Spoof Youtube Podcast with fictional (or fictionalized versions of) Uncyclopedian editors.
- Possibly create trailer to promote Uncyclopedia writing contests on social media websites.
A. Spoof trailer for User:Dr. Skullthumper's Forum:Hourly writing contest.
B. Spoof trailer for "Best of the Worst" tournament; maybe a parody of "You're the Best" montage using FinalCut Pro? - Possibly turn silent film project into a comedy with assistance from another editor?
A. Alternative idea: Use UnTunes to provide audio for an early sound newsreel.
B. Use RXC to help design period title screens instead of doing it by hand. - Participating in real-life short film festivals (e.g. 48 Hour Film Project's Machinima category)
- Organizing a mass "UnSkype" video conference for a first-ever Uncyclomania event.
- A "rejected" Kickstarter proposal.
