Brogo is an ancient language used by the Spartans. The word "brogo" literally meant "to waste no words, and use someone else's words".

Beginning[edit | edit source]

The Spartan king needed a fast and annoying way to communicate with enemies. And friends. Mostly to turn the latter into the former.

Then a man said just the thing. Somebody said to their wife (in ancien t spartan language of cource): "Fuck off git! And eat in a restrant!" (it was common practice in Sparta for a man to insult their wife). The man said "Broeat", which means "Lets eat at the food house" (they had no word for "restrant". The first guy was completly mad). Everyone started using the language soon after that, taking an instant liking to it. Then they used it in war, and their enemies were completly confused. Good thing too, there was a lot of them. Most of them who used to be friends. They say the language was the downfall of Sparta.

Brogo 13[edit | edit source]

Yes, there were thirteen iterations of the language, but this one was on the internet, marking the future of this highly renown Spartan language. Using links to point to other websites so others can guess what you mean with your single used word. Words allowed:

Clearly the inventor never thought it up that well, having only the obove. Must have been too excited to finally try it out, eh? The language was so nearly almost the downfall of the user, then it seems they stopped talking altogether.
