Intellipedia is one of three ultra-super-top-secret wikis used by the United States Dumb Fucks Community . It is used for "data sharing", which we all know is just a professional way of saying "we're gossiping about terrorists". Intellipedia was founded in 2005, but was only announced to the public in 2006. The wikis are not open to the public, for obvious reasons. It's the government. Duh.

History

In 2005, some IC spy was browsing Wikipedia (or maybe another wiki), when he thought of making Wikipedia.. but government. He explained it to his boss, who didn't know what an "Internet" was. They let him make a wiki anyway, and Intellipedia was born. The creation of Intellipedia was hailed as cutting-edge technology that was sure to make all other governments and their Dumb Fucks Communities jealous of how cool and ahead of the curve they were. And, somehow, Intellipedia became a big success in the USIC community, and, when she caught wind of this project, even made Wikipe-tan a little jealous.

Shovels

IT'S WIKI WIKI, BABY!!!!

Intellipedia gives its users shovels as a thanks. In the United States government, shovels are actually said to be good luck charms, and having one is sure to make your boring office job at the Pentagon a bit more interesting.

The shovel idea predates Intellipedia's creation by decades. In the 1800s, Abraham Lincoln gave them out to his favourite friends, coworkers, government employees and theatregoers. This tradition mostly ended when he did, but it did inspire the modern day concept of an award.
