User:Bannedfromwikipedia/HowTo:Win a Roblox Flame War
A Roblox Flame war is a special thing. Not only do you get to go toe-to-toe with a stranger, but given the age of most Roblox players, you will have an advantage. However, you must be careful. Not only is los
Method 1: Accusation[edit | edit source]
Accusing the other player of something humiliating is a very strong tactic. Some ideas include:
- Accuse the other player of having Autism or some other pervasive developmental disorder.
- Accuse the other player of having a small penis (this one especially hits home because given the average age of a roblox player, this is likely true.)
- Accuse the other player of having a low IQ -- for best results, pick a number between 80 and 90 so it seems somewhat plausible.
- Accuse the other player of being less than twelve years old -- effective for the same reason as #2.
Accuse the other player of playing Roblox on their parents' 2006 iMac with a 720p display.
Method 2: Drive them off the edge[edit | edit source]
A clever way to win is to make the other player so angry that they Ragequit, or otherwise become angry enough that they seem stupid. This is difficult to accoplish, but generally you want to get ahead of them such that they feel desperate. Using other methods to keep this lead is important.
Getting Around the chat filter[edit | edit source]
One especially annoying problem with Roblox is that it is run by Christians who are fanatically committed to keeping the site swear-word free and kid-safe. They have created a pesky filter that violates your most important right -- the ability to call someone else a Fucking Moron. Thankfully, the filter is not HAL, and cannot guess your intentions. Therefore, creative means can be used to communicate properly and without restraint.
- You can add nonsense letters that do not change the pronunciation of the word too much (ex. Faqcking instead of Fucking)
- You can write each letter as a separate message.
- You can translate swear words to an agreed-upon language (try Polish).
- You can call them obscure names and encourage them to look up the definition (this will also make you seem educated).
