3 second rule[edit source]

Tell me if this article I wrote a long while back made you giggle... because it's kinda weird. --  Le Cejak <-> 05:40, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

I'll review this one. Marshal Uncyclopedian! Talk to me!
Humour: 8 To be honest, I was not expecting much. It is an old article. But, hey, it is good! My favorite parts were the quotes from the Idaho researchers. Maybe they could have kept on researching a bit longer? Also, it got a bit random near the end, starting with the alien abductions. The very end, though, was great. A quick joke about the US government, used as an effective closure. Keep up the good work.
Concept: 7 A basic "researchers test something, and then go way past what they were testing" concept. Effective, but there could easily be better concepts. I can't think of a better concept, though. Article writing has never really been my specialty.
Prose and formatting: 7 This is carefully written to be from the viewpoint of a researcher who wanted to test the 3 second rule. It worked well that way. It was written like the person was explaining the tests to you, which is great.

For formatting, you fixed the formatting. Good.

Images: 6 The images are great for the article, though they are not very funny on their own. The captions, though, are great. Uncle Ralph gave the captions life, though he is not very lively himself.
Miscellaneous: 7 Average of other scores.
Final Score: 35 A well-rounded article, though it had a few small problems. Keep up the good work!
