I'm looking to get this featured. I know it's a relatively old UnNews article, but I want to see if I can get just a little credibility. This crap is open to any constructive criticism. Princess Zeke 21:11, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
| Humour: | 7 | At first glance, the article looked almost stupid, but the more I thought about it, the better the article looked. Besides deadpan explanation, I don't see any other way the subject could be done that would not decent into crassness/grossness. Overall, I found the article fairly funny. However, some things could be improved. Try to limit profanity, or, at least in the first part of the article. The anger level (or nonsense level or perversion level) should rise through the article, meaning it should start out calm/tame, and go bombastic at the end. If you start out screaming, there is nowhere for you to go, and it comes across as a rant. |
| Concept: | 6 | Subject matter is a little tasteless. Granted, there should be an article about it, but there is no need for a news article about it. Also, necrophilia really isn't news. Unless this is posted when some necrophiliac act is in the news, the concept can't get any better. |
| Prose and formatting: | 7 | Formatting is ok. No errors or red links. However, the article is too short, and looks "padded", i.e. it looks like the author is filibustering & inserting unneeded space wasters. Glancing over it, it almost looks like a 1 paragraph NRV-article which a later editor stretched out without added any new text. (Its clearly not, but it looks like it on first glance) It needs more meaningful content. |
| Images: | 7 | Images are ok. Nothing bad or overly shocking, but nothing stands out either. You could probably improve the captions a bit, for example, changing the first one to "a typical necrophiliac after raping your grandmother" or something to that effect. |
| Miscellaneous: | 5 | I would get rid of the last section. Insulting the reader isn't funny. Points also taken away for being too short. |
| Final Score: | 32 | Subject matter will probably prevent it from being featured ever. |
