Total Randomness Squared[edit source]

Humour: | 6 | Not extremely funny; the obvious comment ("seems awfully random") can only be ironic in this context. |
Concept: | 6 | This has been done in varying degrees in other articles. See endnotes. |
Prose and formatting: | 7 | Well-written. |
Images: | 6 | Well, it's a picture. Why isn't it one of Yoda peering over the edge of the Andromeda Galaxy? That would be more appropriate, given the caption. |
Miscellaneous: | 7 | Hmmmm. If this can be taken into new territory that would be good. |
Final Score: | 32 | |

Endnotes[edit source]
There are already a number of articles which use randomness as a springboard. For instance, check out the following:
These tackle the problem of presenting random material while still holding the reader's interest, and each of the articles takes a slightly different approach.
What I would suggest you do with Total Randomness is think about how you want to develop the theme, and do it cleverly and with greater depth. There are various possibilities: I Think I'll Call it Peach does a good job of suggesting that what is apparently random is actually deeply meaningful, while Bat Fuck Insane pushes randomness into a carnival of grotesquerie.
As it stands, Total Randomness does not seem developed enough. It is interesting, but too simplistic to be really good at this point. But of course that is just my personal opinion. ----OEJ 15:12, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
