HowTo:Read a book[edit source]

- Finally, a hand guide solution to my one crippling weakness at being a pee reviewer: My inability to read. I'll take it. --OliOmniOmbudsman 05:34, July 23, 2012 (UTC)
Humour: | 5 | I did smile, but I didn't really laugh. The conversation thing kind of zapped some of the potential for humor. Better humor could be achieved without cursing, toilet humor, sexual references or crassness in general. The jokes aren't very funny (at least the ones that I saw), but maybe I skipped some good ones for reasons explained below. Stating the obvious would be a good technique in this case. A "Reading for Dummies" format would be nice. |
Concept: | 9 | A "HowTo" for such a simple thing is an excellent idea. Don't let the article get deleted! |
Prose and formatting: | 5 | The conversation layout made it hard to follow, and some clipping and trimming would be nice. Wait, no. Scratch that. Some clipping and trimming would be essential. Drawing out an article with hopes of it being perceived as better can sometimes backfire. |
Images: | 6 | There are certainly enough images, but the last two are completely irrelevant to the article-maybe do the images as though they were in an instruction manual? That would be really funny. |
Miscellaneous: | 6 | The article isn't really a "HowTo" article so much as a play. UnPlays or the like would be a better outlet for this type of article. |
Final Score: | 31 | The article has a lot of potential, but the style and humor need work. A fundamental rewrite may be required to get the article on the featured list. Don't despair, though. It's an excellent idea. |

Do you know? And yes, I did check the wikitext box in Preferences.) |
