| Humo(u)r: | 3 | Let's forget about the size of the article for a minute, shall we? I think you have got quite a few things going there, although none of which were extraordinarily impressive. On one hand, I believe many of our readers here are quite above the "lol, she's from a trailer park" kind of things. On the other hand, though, there is still a chance for this type of low-brow humor to work so as long as you consider seriously the context in which it is placed. I think it was kind of unfortunate that you did not wish to walk out of the comfort zone and go that extra mile to draw the connection between that "not a chav" thing and Freema's underwhelming career, which leads to my observations as written in the next section. |
| Concept: | 3 | Freema Agyeman sucks. She is currently stranded in a cheesy off-world civilization known as "Doctor Who". I can't say her acting skills are really that bad, but like this article, she is just never beyond the ordinary. Yes, I know it is hard to inject proper emotions to a generic female sidekick character in a universe where every molded silicon-based alien speices is given the unlikey opportunity and the even more unlikely motives to blow planet Earth to bits. But then again, I could find more dimensions and fluidity in coma patients and news readers than I ever did in her. Think of what she would be like playing a chav. Now that's the kind of concepts you should be working on. |
| Prose and Formatting: | 2 | What bugs me the most here is the "Doctor Who" section. It is exactly the sort of material that people usually come up with when they run out of ideas. If you want to save the article from its untimely end, this section must be done away with. Expand the rest of the article with a more solid concept, throw in a few pictures to reinforce the contents, and, hopefully, at the end, you will get a more decent piece of writing than this. |
