Yes, this is quite a bit of fun. I enjoyed it. Good concept. NBC's "rights to the apocalypse" was a nice touch.

I was reminded of an old gag -- a picture of DOS screen with the message "REALITY.SYS CORRUPTED! REBOOT UNIVERSE Y/N?"

You might want to work that in somewhere, that the sysops tried to reboot the universe but then got the "Blue Screen of Death"

I liked the language, sort of journalistic. The title needs work, it needs to be more punchy and grabby. You are trying to push too much info into the title. And it must have alliteration.
